Hana Black has always loved adventuring by bike - her early rides include the Heaphy Track on a fully rigid bike with homemade panniers (before it became a National Park). She has spent five of the last ten years cycling in 25 countries - including an epic bikepacking trip of 45,500km from the north coast of Alaska to Patagonia. Her current focus is ultra-endurance events in New Zealand. She was the 4th woman to finish the Tour Te Waipounamu race in February 2021, and enjoyed the challenge so much she's signed up for another lap.
